Maxillofacial Surgeon

 

Caroline graduated from Birmingham dental school in 1990 and spent three years working in Maxillofacial Surgery before returning to medical school in Southampton.

 

Following medical registration in 1998 she undertook two years of her general surgical training in London and obtained her Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2000. Since then she has completed her higher surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in three central London teaching hospitals. 

 

Her final year of her training included a fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital where she was involved in the surgery and management of children with complex craniofacial deformities as well as children with vascular and skin lesions. She has completed an Aesthetic Surgical Fellowship at The West London Clinic, a private clinic devoted to Cosmetic surgery. During this period she worked with a number of Central London Plastic surgeons gaining experience in all aspects of facial plastic cosmetic surgery.

 

Since 2002 Caroline has been working undertaking non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments at The Henley Clinic. This has included the use of botox and dermal fillers, facial laser treatments and Isolagen.

 

Caroline is currently an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Consultant at Wexham Park and North-West London Hospitals.

Her specialist interests include botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, chemical peels for rejuvenation of the face and facial cosmetic surgery.

Samintharaj Kumar graduated in Dentistry from Singapore in 2001. During this undergraduate period, he was the 1st South-East Asian recipient for the David B. Scott Research Fellowship Award (International Association for Dental Research) 

 

He spent his final year elective of his medical degree in the Craniofacial Unit at The Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto, Canada. During medical school he won a number of prizes for academic merit including the Drummond and Frank Scott Prize for overall performance in preclinical medicine, received awards from the British Association of Plastic Surgeons, British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, The Royal College of Physicians and The Wellcome Trust.

 

During his training towards a career in Maxillofacial Surgery, he has had extensive specialist exposure to the field of Non-Surgical Aesthetic Rejuvenation. His training has been acquired through courses with specialists in the non-surgical industry and has successfully performed such treatments for the past three years.

 

Samin set up the non-surgical rejuvenation clinic at Pall Mall Dental & Dermal Clinic and for the YourDentistGroup. Since then, he has been successfully carrying non-surgical treatment at these premises. He also worked with two eminent plastic surgeons as their Aesthetic Fellow (London Chambers of Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery), where he used to spearhead the non-surgical rejuvenation branch.

 

Samin also lectures on the International Qualifying Examination Course at the Eastman and has taught on the Dentist on the Ward courses in Lincoln and Birmingham. He has published papers in internationally peer review journals and is currently writing a medical book. Additionally he was also a member of the teaching faculty of the Millimetre Perfect Aesthetic Training courses for Botox and Fillers.

 

His specialist interests include botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, Isolagen, Sculptra and chemical peels for rejuvenation of the face. In addition he sees patients at a specialist oral surgery referral clinic for wisdom teeth removal and dental implants.

 

Samin’s other interests include singing, futuristic technology and electronics.
